Red Seal Technician in Automotive Mechanics

The following position’s primary duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
• Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which include oil changes, tire rotation, tire repairs, small motor repairs, lawn and equipment repair, battery installations, headlight and tail light installations, and transmission work/flushes
• Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make accurate and effective recommendations
• Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers
• Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet provincial requirements for safety and emissions
• Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices
• Maintaining paperwork and customer records
• Ensuring equipment longevity
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Red Seal Technician in Automotive certified
• Experience operating a forklift (training can be provided)
• Ability to provide high level of customer service
• The ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
• Must be willing to work overtime as required

Wages: Wage will be based on qualifications and experience
